In Philippians 1:12, Paul talks about the “…the
furtherance of the Gospel.” The word furtherance simply
means “pioneer advance.” The pioneers of old went into
new territories and opened the way for others. Since it
was a long journey with many challenges, they had to
know what to take and what to leave behind. The main
rule on every wagon trail was to keep moving. In
Philippians 1:25, Paul also said that he would continue
laboring for the Lord “…for your furtherance and joy of
faith.”
It is our joy to help you in your pioneer advance of joy and faith. Trina and I continue to strive to carry the glory of God to believers around the world. Through the Word of God and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, churches, ministers, missionaries, and individuals are being edified, equipped, and strengthened to fulfill the call of God on their lives. We believe you are moving forward and enjoying new scenery.
The Lord is continuing to open more and more doors of opportunity to share the gospel. The demands of the ministry have intensified greatly. With our travel schedule becoming more extensive, the pastoral office of our church has been placed upon the shoulders of our son, Pastor Aaron Hankins. He and his wife, Errin, are doing a great job leading Christian Worship Center.
Like never before we are crossing the nation and traveling to Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and South America with the message of faith and who the believer is in Christ. Therefore, the time has come for us to move forward from the Cessna 421 to a Citation Jet. This move forward will enable us to continue declaring the Gospel to more people, in more places, in less time.
The Citation Jet will greatly increase our capacity to minister. The jet will actually double the speed, distance, and altitude. For instance, the Cessna 421 is greatly hindered by bad weather. However the Citation Jet will cruise at an altitude of 43,000 feet, allowing us to fly over and avoid bad weather. The Citation Jet also has a 1,300 mile range which allows us to travel much further than the Cessna 421 without stopping. Another benefit is the Citation Jet’s air speed of 400 miles per hour, double the airspeed of the Cessna 421. As you can clearly see, a jet will enable us to minister the gospel much more efficiently, carrying the glory of God to as many places as God would send us. We continue to thank God for this double blessing! I believe there is also a double portion of joy, anointing, and prosperity breaking out on our partners. (Isaiah 61:7-9)
The cost of the Citation Jet is $1.2 million. We would like to invite you to join the Spirit of Faith Pioneer Advance Team.
